Reptiles of the Night Sky
February 13, 2008 • 3-5 PM
Children aged 5 to 10 with a grown-up are welcome to meet live reptiles from our UTC Wildlife Sanctuary, learn about reptile constellations, hear a reptile story, and build a snake craft all under the stars of the new Travelers Science Dome. Dinosaurs, Rocks and Fossils
New exhibit opening February 16, 2008
Step into the prehistoric past with our new permanent exhibit Excavation Station: Dinosaurs, Rocks & Fossils. Uncover fossils in our dig pits, mine for minerals, see a live alligator and fish, touch rock and mineral samples, and stand in the shadow of a life-size, moving and roaring juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex. Join us for Vacation Week
Saturday February 16th through Sunday February 24th!
Are you looking for something fun to do during February break this year? How about helping out at The Children’s Museum? We have opportunities for Docents and Floor Watchers. There will be an orientation on Wednesday February 13th at 3 pm for all who are interested. Please have completed paperwork to Alison Reno, Volunteer Coordinator and Guest Relations Manager, by Tuesday February 12th. This is a great opportunity for those who have to complete Student Government hours or anyone who has to complete hours for school.

Lunar Eclipse Party
February 20, 2008
Join The Children’s Museum the evening of February 20th to talk with guest speakers from NASA, watch digital planetarium shows, play with moon rocks, and of course, to view the last total lunar eclipse until 2010. Feb. 2nd Groundhog Day Walk
Did our groundhog see his shadow? Will there be an early spring? A one hour family walk on Groundhog Day, February 2nd at 2 PM. Pre-registration not required. Admission $3.00 adults/ $2.00 for children for members (nonmembers $5.00 adults/ $3.00 children).
Feb. 3rd Family Concert
Don't spend all afternoon watching TV! Our annual Superbowl Sunday Concert with Dave Fry begins at 2 PM. Advance tickets $5.00 members, $6.00 nonmembers. Call 693-0263 for more info.
Story Hour
