April Vacation Weeks Visiting Tips

This year spring school vacation covers two weeks, April 14 – 18 and April 21 – 25.  Most schools are out during the first week but some have the second week free to play.  As you can imagine the Museum will be busy.  Here are a few tips to make your visit to the Museum more enjoyable.

  • Make sure you have your current membership card and a valid form of ID with you.
  • Plan to arrive before 11:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m. to avoid peak times.
  • Shows in our new digital planetarium can sell out fast so arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time before any scheduled show.
  • Keep in mind that during the second week we are running school programs so we are limited to an afternoon schedule of public planetarium shows and animal demonstrations.
  • GO GREEN and carpool with friends.  This will save gas and make parking here at the Museum easier for everyone.
  • For a complete schedule of programming visit our website.

We look forward to seeing you here!
