Stella’s Last Light
September 15 & 16, 2007
The weekend of September 15 and 16 will be the last time you can see the Gengras Planetarium’s Spitz Space Transit Projector in full operation. Stella, as she is affectionately known to kids, needs to be removed to make way for the new SciDome projector made possible thanks to a major gift from Travelers. Stella has been in service since the Gengras Planetarium opened in 1968. In that time Stella has shown the stars to over one million earthlings. So come see a show and enjoy Stella’s last light.
