Season of Light

Sunday Afternoon Walks For All Ages

Bird Seed Sale Scheduled
November 17

The Nature Center Gift Shop offers high quality seed and bird feeders throughout the winter.  For below gift shop prices, order your seed in advance for our reduced rates.  To receive a bird seed order form please call the Center at (860) 693-0263.  If you are concerned about bears, call the Nature Center for tips on how to minimize bird feeder damage in your yard! Discovery Days
The Nature Center's enrichment series for young children, pre-schoolers and students in grades K-3.  The cost of each four week session is $40 for members/$50 for nonmembers except for Nature for Little Ones (as noted below).  Discounts are extended to families with multiple children attending during the same time period. Fall Story Hours Continue
Geared for children ages 2-5,  there is no charge for this program although pre-registration is requested as space is limited.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. November story hour will be held November 19. For more information, visit our website.

Nature Center Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm;
Sundays from 1 - 5 pm. Trails through Werner’s Woods open daily dawn until dusk.
