A Day’s Journey into Our National Parks

As is often the case in our fast-paced lives, we overlook the many subtleties that surround us.  Even when we freeze time through a photograph, we do so more to preserve our memories than to reveal something beyond which is seen at first glance.  This is particularly true as we venture outdoors into the many great parks found throughout the nation.

Jim Liddy has built an extensive collection of photographs capturing the natural history of America’s landscapes and wildlife.  Jim will be exhibiting a portfolio of photographs based on years of fieldwork throughout many of the national parks of the United States.  Entitled A Day’s Journey Into Our National Parks, the exhibit will showcase several images that provide a unique perspective into these protected lands and share with others what he experiences in visiting these places of natural wonder.

We hope that you will join Jim in a journey past the untouched wilderness that we cherish in our national parks.

Jim resides in Avon, Connecticut with his wife, Jodie, and their son, Evan.  They enjoy traveling, hiking and golfing.
