R.A.Y.S. – Insects

R.A.Y.S. (Reading Awakens Young Scientists) is an innovative format that combines the reading and science curriculum. A fictional story serves as the jumping off point for real life experiments!

Classroom Program
Grades K - 3
After a story that shows a bug’s point of view, students will test live mealworms. Do these larvae prefer certain colors or smells, light or darkness?
