Family Science Sunday closed out the year - and called on you to put it all together. You built your own machines, constructed treacherous towers, experienced amazing devices, and thrilled to the power of the TCM Trebuchet.
May 16, 2010	Chemistry Sunday
It was a great day with chemical experiments and science activities throughout the Museum. Plus, Mr. Science presented special chemical demonstrations that unleashed rainbows, colored fire, explosions of bubbles and more! To see some pics and try activities click the Chemistry Sunday link!
June 20, 2010	Animal Sunday
It was a wild day with The Children's Museum's UTC Wildlife Sanctuary! We learned a lot of great things about our friends in the air as well as a few cute creatures on land. We had a lot of fun with our friends from Riverside Reptiles, The Forest Park Zoo and Talons!
July 18, 2010	Bubble Sunday
Science was almost as much fun as getting dirty, when Family Science Sundays presented bubble-ology. Featuring performances by Casey Carle's BubbleMania!, an amazing, high-energy show that was good clean fun for the whole family.
August 15, 2010	Mark Twain Sunday
Presentations by The Mark Twain House in Hartford helped Family Science Sunday bring the science of America's greatest writer to TCM.
October 17, 2010	Combustion Sunday
We learned about fire safety from the West Hartford Fire Department. Met real firefighters and saw their fire truck!
November 21, 2010	Art Sunday
Science got creative, as we explored many ways to make our own artistic masterpieces. You helped The Children's Museum make a piece of mosaic artwork that will hang in our museum.
December 19, 2010	Robo Sunday
The Robot Roll Call began with a visit from the 12 foot tall, 800 pound security robot named Aexeous...surely one of most Awesome Sundays!
January 16, 2011	Supercold Sunday
Think it was cold outside? Connecticut winter was nothing compared to the -320 degree chill of Liquid Nitrogen!
February 20, 2011	Space Sunday
We explored the final frontier and witnessed the dangers of outer space. We saw what happened in an airless environment, built our own rockets and more.
March 20, 2011	Bird Sunday
Spring migration was here. We met live avian friends, found out how to attract them to our own backyard, and constructed feeders and nest boxes to take home.
April 17, 2011	Gardening Sunday
We got down and dirty, just in time for gardening season. Learned how to compost, saw what's inside a flower, got hands-on with live worms, and decorated flowerpots to take with you for more grow-it-yourself-science.
