Youth Group Programs

As the sun sets outside, the adventure is just beginning inside The Children’s Museum. Since the 1990s, the Children’s Museum has provided evening and overnight opportunities for youth groups of all ages.

Evening scout workshops provide an opportunity to explore the museum after-hours. Participants attend two science workshops where they engage in hands-on science learning focused on a particular Badge or Journey.

Overnight programs provide many children with their first away-from-home camping experience. An Overnight is a perfect indoor camping trip for scouts, schools, and other recreational groups providing a camping experience that's warm, safe, and dry any time of year! Campers become immersed in the excitement and wonder of science through interactive workshops, an amazing digital planetarium show, and exploration of our many exhibits.

Evening scout programs and Overnights are focused around age-appropriate science and nature education, with an emphasis on fun! Join the thousands of people who have already experienced a night at The Children’s Museum.
