Overnight Programs
Canopy Clues: Mysteries of the Rainforests
Join us for an overnight adventure as we uncover the mysteries of the world’s tropical jungles. Campers will assume the role of rainforest detectives as they unlock the secrets of the animals, plants, and treasures hidden within.
Campers become immersed in the excitement and wonder of science throughout the night. Your experience includes
- An Interactive science workshop
- A specialized workshop focused on wildlife
- A self-guided “Rainforest Critters” scavenger hunt through our Wildlife Sanctuary
- A live planetarium presentation in the Travelers Science Dome featuring the stars, planets and Moon of the current night sky
- After-hours exploration of our many exhibits
- Evening snack and light breakfast
- Time to shop for a souvenir
Overnights are available to children in grades 1 - 6 on selected Friday and Saturday dates from January - May.
