Spend the holiday vacation week with everyone’s favorite polar bear: Lars!

Immediately following the 10:00 showing of Lars the Little Polar Bear in our planetarium (free with regular admission or membership) there will be a story and educational craft.

Created by Dutch author Hans de Beer, Lars the Little Polar Bear stars in a number of children’s stories. Join us on December 23rd, 24th, 26th and 27th for readings of these memorable books. Afterwards, join in on a craft activity designed to teach children about the big & little dipper constellations (“big bear” and “little bear” or Polar bears in this case). You can also take home a December star chart so that the whole family can look for the “bears” in the night sky.
