The perfect family activity for the holiday season: join TCM in an Engineering Challenge that will put both your candy and building skills to the test.

Participating families are given graham crackers, frosting, and miscellaneous candies for supplies as they are challenged to build the best Gingerbread House imaginable. The workshop kicks off with a brief tutorial about engineering led by a museum educator. Families will also be given ideas and hints on how to go about constructing their (tasty) creation. And don’t worry– everyone is a winner! Each family will receive a certificate for their participation.

Space is limited, so hurry up! Because, after all, if you’re going to make a gingerbread house this season, why not make it somewhere where you won’t have to clean up the mess?

Families of all sizes are invited but please confirm your numbers ahead of time. Only the number of registered family members will be admitted.

Please be advised that individuals with allergies should take into consideration that we will be using actual food.
