The Children’s Museum’s Early Childhood Learning Lab (ECLL) is a variety of rooms located throughout the museum specifically created for very young children—three to six-year-olds—and their parents or caregivers. It features hands-on, play-based, and sensory learning stations designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and their natural passion for discovering, exploring, and questioning. This immersive lab is Phase I of a three-part initiative. Twelve to fifteen Lendable Learning Kits will be added during Phase II. Thirty ECLL Traveling Programs will be presented to low-income communities throughout Connecticut during Phase III.
