July 16: Three Ring Circuits    

Get creative as you test the conductive properties of Playdough, see the surprising properties of magnets, and feel the power of Zap Strips.

 

July 23: Egg Drop 2013                        

This classic challenge is back. Only you can build a device to save an egg from a 15 foot fall.

 

July 30: It’s Crafty            

Tinkering expresses its artistic side. Make pictures with centripetal force, create a shelter for your local amphibians, try your hand at the paper-folding art of origami.

 

August 6: Medieval Tinkering                           

Tinkering Tuesday goes medieval. Design and build your own catapult and watch our museum trebuchet in action.

 

August 13: Lift Off

Tinkering reaches new heights as we challenge you to build a craft for our vertical wind tunnel.
