Join The Children’s Museum in our
5th Annual Great Gingerbread Engineering Challenge!
Put both your candy and your building skills to the test during this fun, family activity. Because, after all, if you’re going to make a gingerbread house this season, why not make it somewhere where you won’t have to clean up the mess?
This is a fun (and yummy) way for families to enjoy the holiday season! Families are challenged to use their engineering skills to construct a gingerbread house masterpiece and will be supplied with all of the materials necessary.
The workshop kicks off with a brief tutorial about engineering and architecture led by a museum educator. Families will also be given ideas and hints on how to go about constructing their (tasty) creation.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
- Admission to the Museum is NOT included.
- $10 discounted admission for Non-members with the purchase of a workshop.
Groups can be up to 4 people and must include at least one adult. For larger families, we suggest splitting into multiple groups in order to ensure the best possible experience. Children must be 5 years or older.
*Please be advised that individuals with allergies should take into consideration that we will be using real food.
