Preschool Employment Opportunity

We’re currently hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher!

The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

In our museum preschool setting, this role integrates hands-on experiences and museum resources into daily learning while providing leadership for assistant teachers and volunteers.

Animal Sanctuary Volunteer

Animal Sanctuary volunteers assist staff with many tasks during the week and on weekends in the Animal Sanctuary. Duties include general cleaning of animal habitats, cage maintenance, animal demonstrations, answering questions from the public, and creating animal enrichment activities.

If you enjoy animals and don’t mind working hard and getting a little dirty, this is the volunteer position for you! You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in the Animal Sanctuary.

Art & Marketing Interns

If you have a love for being creative and want to expand your skills in design, marketing, and communications, this internship is for you!
Art & Marketing Interns assist with creating digital and print materials, managing social media content, and helping develop creative campaigns that bring our museum’s mission to life.

General Information
All Children’s Museum Volunteers are carefully screened to ensure the safety of our visitors. Volunteers are required to fill out an application, including two references, and must receive our volunteer handbook before joining the team. (Volunteers under the age of 16 require parental permission.)
