During the summer months, the Wildlife Sanctuary at The New Children’s Museum will offer a more in depth program for students with a high degree of interest in animals. “Summer in the Sanctuary” provides a behind the scenes look into the Wildlife Sanctuary and its residents. Participants will work directly with animal curators to learn about animals from around the world and what it takes to care for them. The 90 minute sessions will include private animal demonstrations and extensive hands on experience to see what it takes to be a wildlife keeper.
